June 3rd and 2022, the ministry of health, with the support of the World Health Organization, Celebrated World Health Day event in Covalima-Suai. The Celebration event was organized with the theme of health care in the “Climate and Quality Culture Safety” which values hand hygiene and prevention and control of infection. At the same event, started with a healthy march from the Setembro Negro monument to the municipal administration. The event was organized with a poster competition of referral hospitals and community health center from Covalima. The RAOEA Regional Hospital was the winner of the competition.
Participating in the event were the representative of the Minister of Health the Director General Coorporative Services, the Director General of the service Delivery, representative of the National Directors, Five Reference Hospital, National Hospital Guido Valadares, all Municipal Health Services and it’s Focal point of Quality Control, Health Professionals in the municipality of Covalima, Community Leaders in Covalima, a Secondary and University students, as well as representatives of WHO in Timor-Leste.
